What is MySiteGPT Assistant?

MySiteGPT Assistant is an AI chatbot for your website that you train on your own content. It answers visitors with a cited source for every claim, says so when the answer isn't in your content, captures leads, and installs with one script tag. You can start on the Free plan with no card.

How does it know my content?

Paste your site's URL and it lists the pages in your sitemap (or, if there's no sitemap, the links on that page) so you pick which ones to train on, up to 1,000 pages. You can also paste text, add Q&A pairs or upload files like PDFs. Everything is embedded as vectors, so answers are grounded in your material, not the open internet.

Will it slow my site down?

No. The widget is a single async script that mounts in an isolated Shadow DOM, so it never blocks your page or clashes with your styles.

What if it doesn't know an answer?

It won't make things up. When confidence is low it returns your configured fallback message and can capture the visitor's email so you can follow up.

Can I capture leads?

Yes — turn on lead capture and the widget asks for an email after the first reply. You get an instant email alert with the conversation.

Does it really cite sources?

Every factual claim carries a [n] marker tied to the exact page or document the answer came from. Click any marker in the live demo to see the source it came from.

Which AI model powers the bots?

OpenAI is included and managed for you — answers and retrieval embeddings both run on MySiteGPT's OpenAI, so there's no API key to bring or configure.

Is there an API or Slack integration?

Yes. The plan includes a REST API plus per-bot webhooks that post new leads to Slack, Zapier, or any endpoint you choose.

How do I add it?
